Many thanks to everyone who helped bring Christmas to the forty families adopted at Sunnyslope K-8 School and Moon Mountain Elementary. Each shopper was assigned one or more families to shop for, including clothes, shoes, and gifts for the children, plus household gifts for the parents. The shoppers used their own funds and/or Walmart gift cards from our MVWC Service Project Grant for these purchases. They then labeled the gifts and delivered them in large gift bags to the school Social Worker at Sunnyslope or Health Technician at Moon Mountain.
