MVWC Service Project

Who we are:

We are a volunteer group of women supporting the nonprofit 501(c)(3) arm of the Moon Valley Women’s Club. Our members raise funds throughout the fiscal year through a variety of events, including our annual basket auction, bake sales, Moonlight Mixers, and other fundraising activities. We also gratefully welcome private and corporate donations to help support our mission. 100% of the funds raised are used to provide grants and direct assistance to organizations serving our community.

What we do:

The Service Project Board awards grants and provides purchased goods to deserving local nonprofit organizations and community programs that enhance the quality of life for those they serve. Club members also have numerous opportunities to volunteer, including serving on the Service Project Board, working directly with grant applicants, shopping for groceries, clothing and toys for our annual holiday family adoption program, and assisting with fundraising events throughout the year.

Each December, grants are awarded to nonprofit organizations whose work supports Health and Human Services and Education. All grant applications must be sponsored by a current Moon Valley Women’s Club member using the Member Sponsor Form available on our secure website (under Member Pages).

How you can help:

In addition to participating in the club’s fundraising events and submitting your sponsor forms for potential grant awards, you can also support us by purchasing official MVWC merch (T-shirts, tank tops, and other swag).

We’re also signed up for the FRY’s FOOD STORES Community Rewards Program. If you shop at Fry’s Foods, they make program fundraising easy by linking your Fry’s Shopper’s Card to our organization. Once you link your Card, all you have to do is shop at Fry’s and swipe your Shopper’s Card each time you shop.
