Our March event was held at the beautiful home of Doris O. Doris is a gracious host who gave us a tour of her exquisite gardens. The show stopper was her 100 blooming rose bushes.
Doris also has a Mango tree that looks like it is going to produce a lot of fruit, a Turkish Fig Tree and a Golden Fig tree that she started from a twig. We also saw the Buddha’s Hand tree and several peach trees. Everywhere you turned were blossoms to see.
We then journey’s over to Rita’s Cantina at the Camelback Inn for a wonderful lunch and lively conversation. We were entertained by a Falcon and it’s handler during our lunch. What a magnificent bird.
Our next outing will be at the homes of Kristin C and Betsy I on Friday, May 6th.
