In April, the group went to George and Son Chinese Restaurant at Deer Valley. They have a large choice of dishes on the luncheon menu. Most of us had the Mongolian beef. Luncheon dishes come with both rice and chow Mein along with soup and a Vegetable roll.
We enjoyed getting out together and talking to everybody.
And later…another outing….
What an adventure we had for our latest Restaurant Review outing! We decided to shake things up a bit and try something totally unique: the Fry Bread House. You might have even seen them on a TV show – it definitely sparked our curiosity, and boy, are we glad we went! The food was absolutely incredible. I, for one, was completely captivated by their savory fry bread with green chili. Seriously, I devoured the entire thing without even thinking twice. It was so fresh and flavorful, I just couldn’t get enough! Admittedly, it was a bit on the pricier side, but these days, what isn’t? For such a unique and delicious experience, I’d say it was totally worth it.
Just a heads-up if you plan on going – it’s a pretty cozy spot, and it gets super busy. Even rolling in around 1:00 PM for lunch, the place was still buzzing. So, definitely aim for an early arrival or a later lunch if you want to beat the main rush. We ended up enjoying our delicious meal outdoors under some tents, perched at picnic tables, which added to the casual, fun vibe. A huge shoutout and a massive thank you to Jody for being our early bird and snagging us some prime tables – you’re a lifesaver!
