Thank you to everyone who attended the Fall Fundraising Tea Party! And thank you to anyone who contributed in any way, whether it was dishes donated, purses donated, or just time in helping to set up and tear down. We are so grateful to you all! And most importantly a huge shout out to Betsy I, who organized this entire event from start to finish. She truly is amazing, and we forgot to thank her at the event itself
A BIG thank you to Nancy P and her team for working hard on all of those lovely bags! She cleaned and conditioned many of them and looked them up online to get the value of each one. We had over 125 purses on display and people got some incredible deals. We will have final totals soon but we have the feeling that we doubled what we did last year. Tremendous effort from everybody involved and just a beautiful day!
And we are so grateful to the VFW for allowing us to use their wonderful facility with just a few days’ notice. We foresee future events there!
