The Easy Hiking Group was able to complete their March hike between two storms.
The hikers had to dodge standing water and mud on the Reach 11 Trail but persevered. The air was clean and fresh after the previous night’s rain. We were able to see the fast moving clouds coming in for the next storm. The three-mile hike took about 80 minutes around the pond and burrowing owl sanctuary (did not see any owls, we think they come out at night).
Afterward, the hungry hikers departed for the nearby Tryst Café, where the food was delicious and satisfying.
