Greetings Moon Valley Residents,
Just for informational purposes, the luminaria cost us approximately $5,000. Your $25 annual dues payment is what covers that cost. Needless to say, if we don’t get enough dues payments, we may not be able to supply luminaria to everyone as the MVNA has done for these many years.
Plans are in place to begin assembling and distributing this year’s luminaria, and we need a few kind folks who would be interested in helping with the process. This involves counting and packing bags, candles and MVNA newsletters into boxes, which are then delivered to the block captains. You need no prior experience, it isn’t difficult and it’s fun “hanging” with your neighbors for a couple of hours. Coffee and donuts will provided to boot!!
All this fun is scheduled to take place:
