Painting Group Congratulations!
Two of our very own MVWC members, Grace K and Harriet M have paintings on display at Shemer Art Gallery for August.
The gallery is located at 2320 E. Camelback Rd and is open Tuesday– Saturday from 10am – 3pm

JUNE:
Hello from Deer Valley Airport from the Painting Group! We had a lovely lunch at Barrio Brewing Company (inside the Deer Valley Airport), watching the planes land and take off. The Monte Cristo deep-fried sandwich was delicious with the homemade raspberry jelly. And the Nachos were huge! They needed to be shared with a big group. They came with Jalepenos and were very hot!

JULY:
The painting group went to Abuelo‘s for our July Meeting.We had lunch and painted the beautiful murals. Food was delicious, 5 stars!
AUGUST:
In early August, the painting group went to Arizona’s oldest Mexican restaurant, Los Olivas, to paint and have lunch. The food was wonderful! The tamales were a little sweet and tender. The fish taco was a big hit too! Next month we’ll be painting at Tandy’s on Sept. 3rd. Text Maripat if you wish to join us!
