The Restaurant was decked out for Christmas – seriously, they went ALL out! The whole place was beautifully decorated, from the amazing archway entrance to the photo opportunities everywhere inside. They even had a sleigh outside and a life-sized Grinch and Santa inside! It was so festive; it totally got us in the Christmas spirit.
The food was amazing! Everything was delicious, although, be warned – the green chiles and salsa were pretty spicy! But seriously, the mole was incredible. I’m officially ditching my usual Cave Creek spot for mole and making the drive to Scottsdale from now on.
Oh, and I got creative with my order! I asked them to turn my mole tacos into enchiladas, and another person in our group added shrimp to their chile relleno – both sounded amazing, and I’m definitely trying the shrimp one next time.
We had such a blast! The only tiny heads-up is that you have to order and pay for chips separately. But honestly, it was totally worth it for the amazing atmosphere and delicious food.
