Blanco Cocina + Cantina, Paradise Valley (12750 N. Tatum), was selected for our May gathering. Twelve members enjoyed the food and camaraderie at this venue on the site of the former PV Mall. Some favorite menu items included the Tomato and Poblano Cheese Crisp, the Short Rib Quesadilla, the Street Corn, and the Watermelon Fresca.
Members evaluated the restaurant on its menu, price, food, and service. On a 5 point scale, Blanco scored an average 4.85. Due to construction in the area, Blanco’s parking lot is currently not accessible; however, the parking garage to the north, the parking lot in front of Whole Foods, and some side street parking were available. Complimentary valet parking is offered in the evening. Blanco’s menu (new twists on old favorites) is the same for lunch and dinner.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our Blanco outing!
