The restaurant review group met at Bear and Honey for brunch. Everyone had a good time. Our only complaint was the menu was small and didn’t have everything listed. We wished we had seen the special chalkboard at the beginning. We would have ordered differently. I will have to go back to try green chile. The coffee and pastries were the highlights. They gave us cinnamon rolls to taste for dessert. The crescent was the best I have ever tasted. Most of us had egg dishes where you could add protein. The steak and egg burrito is another dish I need to go back and try. The chorizo was good, it had nice favor and was not salty. Dishes are served on fajita cast iron plates. It’s nice to have a small hometown restaurant nearby. They have happy hour, too.
Go check out it’s much better in their new location next to the Dollar Store.
