SEND YOUR LOCAL CHARITY A CHECK
Summertime is the perfect time to consider nominating a local charity for a Grant. The Large Supporting Grants are awarded in the fall and given to established nonprofit designated organizations. Applications from political or religious organizations are not eligible for funding.
Only an active member of the Moon Valley Women’s Club can nominate an organization. Grant recipients may be given funds for project costs or awarded in actual goods. Grants have been historically awarded in the $2000 to $5000 value/dollar range.
After review, to assure the organization meets the grant criteria, the organization will be sent an application form.
To begin the process, a MVWC member must submit a Member Sponsor Form. Forms and Guidelines are available on our web site in member pages within the service project pages.
Deadline for the SP Board to receive the form is August 15th.
