On November 18, the MVWC Museum and Special Events Group toured the ‘Hidden in the Hills’ art studios in Carefree and Cave Creek. The tour began with a delicious breakfast at Harold’s Cave Creek Corral and then went on to tour the art studios. There were so many studios, we could not see all of them in one day! We had a very special and awesome day! A big “thank you” to Rosalie W for all her expertise and to Marcia B for coordinating this special outing and guiding us with reservations, maps, and selecting the routing directions of the studios. It was absolutely wonderful!
On December 3rd The Museum and Special Events group visited the Swedish Women’s Christmas Market at the Shepherd of the Desert Lutheran Church in Scottsdale. There were wonderful Scandinavian Christmas ornaments and Swedish food items for sale. This was a very nice experience for the holiday season. Following the visit to the Christmas Market the group had lunch at Stone and Vine, which was near the church. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. Everyone enjoyed the event and the luncheon.
