Did you know that we have a waterfall right here in the middle of town?
Arizona Falls is located at Indian School Road between 56th and 58th Street, adjacent to the G.R. Herberger Park. This is a little gem that Phoenicians have been enjoying for years and years. Arizona Falls is the first hydroelectric power plant in Phoenix; it has a 20-foot drop waterfall that generates renewable energy for power and feeds into the Arizona Canal for distribution to provide water to nourish agriculture, water gardens, and landscapes.
After our visit to Arizona Falls, we went to lunch at Chelsea’s Kitchen. Good food and great service. We had a very enjoyable day!
