On February 15th, the Museum & Special Events group had a docent-guided tour of S’edav Va’aki Museum (formerly known as Pueblo Grande).
Our guide, Frank, gave us a great tour of this early farming civilization. Amazingly, they created many miles of canals to irrigate their crops. The canals branched off throughout the valley, irrigating the fields of other villages as well. We viewed the ball court, platform mound, and replicas of adobe housing.
Following our tour, we gathered at Keegan’s for a great lunch and conversation.
