The Moderate hiking Group did a 5 mile Hike in late February to Balanced Rock in the McDowell Mountains. It was warm but breezy, and the scenery was amazing!!! We enjoyed brunch/lunch at the Pony Express Cafe after. We may or may not have seen a Rattlesnake that lives near the balanced rock.
It slithered away peacefully.
