The Mexican Train Dominos group kicked off 2022 with Lemon Drop Martini’s at the home of Peg, made with fresh lemon juice from her lemon tree. These were a delightful treat along with the amazing spread she put out. We also started a new trend by switching tables every three rounds. This allows us to mingle with more people throughout the night and create a bit more fun at the tables.
In February, we played at the home of Felicity and had our first grid lock at one of the tables where a double tile was played but was unable to be satisfied since all the tiles had been played. We adapted a new rule for this situation and will implement it going forward.
While we normally wrap up playing by 9:30, everyone was having so much fun we stayed and played through untilafter 10!
It was a fun night with new faces and great laughs!
