We once again enjoyed our annual Holiday Luncheon at the beautiful Orange Tree Resort. The venue is quite lovely and the food and service was once again above par. We listened to Holiday music on the grand piano and even sang some Holiday favorites together. Everyone took home party favors and many ladies won the beautiful centerpieces to take home. But this year we added a white elephant gift exchange and had a blast opening gifts, stealing gifts from each other and finagling what we would take home in the end. If you stayed around long enough you also got one final treat. Lora was cleaning up around her table and tossed some wrapping paper from the floor onto the table as she was preparing to leave and managed to toss it directly onto the burning candles. After a few loud screams we had a group of ladies dumping glasses of water and pitchers of iced tea all over the table, chairs, etc. Success was achieved and all was well with the world! Just an extra bit of excitement.
