The MVWC Garden Group had the pleasure of touring two of our members’ lovely gardens on May 6th. The first garden we toured was Kristin C where she shared with us some of her beautiful trees, flowers, grapes and delicious vegetable garden. She had several unusual trees including her pink lemon and the Buddha hand that both produced amazing fruit. We then went over to Betsy I’s lovely home and abundant vegetable garden where she taught us how to make a compost bin and shared her many gardening techniques. Next, Connie P gave us a creative flower arranging demonstration using flowers from our gardens with various containers and accessories. Our day was followed by lunch brought in from Panera Bakery bringing an end to our Garden Party.
