The Classy Cooks II group held their first Luncheon on November 9th. The theme and home-cooked meal resembled that of a Mexican Fiesta. The meal consisted of a variety of Appetizers (chips, dips, taco cups, ceviche, and fruit): First Course – Chicken Tortilla Soup; Entree – Relleno Casserole; Sides – Vegetables; Dessert – Creme Brule with fresh fruit and whipped cream; Beverages included water, soda, orange and apple juice, margaritas, Mexican coffee and iced tea. The atmosphere was very festive, with Mexican Folklore playing in the background. Everyone in the group contributed and participated in the preparation of this event. We had a great time and lots of food!
