The Classy Cooks celebrated their year-end dinner, Under the Tuscan Sun, on Saturday, April 15th at Audrey’s home. Along with the ladies’ spouses, guests included: Vicky B, Melissa S and Mary B & their spouses. These couples won the raffle for the dinner that raised $785 for the Service Project grants program!
The evening began with signature cocktails of Classic Negroni or Negroni Sbagliato followed by a three- course dinner highlighting flavors from the Tuscany region of Italy. Appetizers included an Italian cheese loaf, parmesan spinach artichoke dip and an antipasto platter. Short ribs, lasagna and chicken alfredo followed along with salads and sides including grilled peppers and risotto. Tiramisu and Italian lemon cake completed the meal.
Guests were sent home with a bottle of the classic Italian lemon liqueur, Limoncello.
Altogether, the food was great and the company even better. Even the weather (perfect!) took part in making it an amazing evening for all.
