The February Classy Cooks was hosted by Cheryl W and Joan D. This dynamic duo came up with a clever take on Groundhog’s Day and everyone had a fantastic time. We shared appetizers and wine in Cheryl‘s 11th floor condo with breathtaking views of Camelback Mountain and the Phoenix Mountain Preserve, then lunch was enjoyed in her community room downstairs. The theme of Groundhogs Day was trying to determine if the group should bring winter recipes or spring recipes since we met on February 1st. In the end the group brought both. As you can see from this photo even the table was divided in half with spring decoration in pink and winter decorations in green. Our hostesses even gifted everyone a groundhog soap to take home which they found online. Clever fun for all!
