November 6th Classy Cooks welcomed fall (FINALLY!) with a luncheon at Karen Z’s home.
The menu included: turkey chili, butternut squash soup, corn bread, tea sandwiches, chilled apple raspberry salad with pumpkin muffins and mini cheese- cakes for dessert. To shift our focus from news of the day to our principal issue – cooking, we started our lunch with mulled cider, a brie walnut appetizer and a quiz. Lin F was able to identify the most international dishes from photos and won the title (and oven mitt) for being the “Classiest Cook.”
