This year Moon Mountain Elementary School was awarded a $1000 grant to provide Thanksgiving Food Baskets for students and their families in need.
Thanks to this Grant, on November 25, MVWC members were able to provide an entire array of fixings for 11 families to celebrate their Thanksgiving Dinner, with the help of Social Service Director, Chanieka Williams (pictured with our wonderful volunteers)
The ladies who were so generous with their time shopping, assembly and delivery are: Dawn Riley, Yolanda Haggerty, Elaine Blake, Kathy Huffman, Kathy Stebbins, Charlene Tatz, Vicki Lamb and Pat Clegg, Chair for the Thanksgiving Dinner Project).
