LADIES!!! YOUR GENEROSITY IS UNMATCHED!!
Many thanks to everyone who helped bring the Holidays to the forty (40) families Adopted at Sunnyslope K-8 School and Moon Mountain Elementary. Each shopper was assigned one or more families to shop for, including clothes, shoes, underwear, socks, and gifts for the children, plus household gifts for the parents. Shop- pers used their own funds and/or funds from our MVWC Service Project Budget for their purchases. They then labeled the gifts and delivered them in large gift bags to the Social Worker at Sunnyslope K-8 School or the Health Technician and Social Worker at Moon Mountain Elementary School. This is just a sample of ALL of the bags of goodies donated to Moon Mountain & Sunnyslope Elementary Schools. These are happy counselors from each school.
The families picked up their gifts at the school. In addition, each family received WinCo gift cards to purchase food and other groceries. These gift cards were restricted, so they couldn’t be used for cigarettes, alcohol, or lottery tickets.
