Many women join MVWC in order to participate in our Service Projects. Our members give back to our community in many ways, and we do it together. Projects we support include:

- De Colores (part of Chicanos Por La Causa). The Mission of De Colores is to provide a safe and secure environment where victims of domestic violence can recover from the devastating effects of abuse as they acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to become self-sufficient and break the cycle of violence.
- Lookout Mountain Elementary School After School Academy. MVWC offers scholarships each semester to assist families with fees for Lookout Students to attend Enrichment Programs.
- Sunnyslope Elementary School. The MVWC works closely with the administration of Sunnyslope to provide for children in need. This assistance is varied and tailored to the needs of the Sunnyslope community but includes: Purchasing clothing and shoes for students; providing water and snacks during testing; providing laundry detergent, soap, toothbrush, and like items; and adopting as many as 30 local families during the Holidays. Our Holiday adopt-a-family is by-far our most ambitious project of the year and most of our members are involved in buying, sorting, organizing, wrapping, assembling and delivering Christmas gifts to every member of 30 families
